I guess i should made myself more clear than just saying i suffer from premature ejaculation to get a answer from the forum,so pls forgive if i am going in to too much details… i last  2-3min in bed if i am lucky.These times are few and far between like maybe once in a few months, but every other time i prematurely ejaculate under a min.I am in love with my girlfriend and she has stayed with me even through 3 years of my premature ejaculation problem.I cant blame her that she let her frustration get to her and finally say something. I have already lost 2 gfs to my premature ejaculation problem and my current Girlfriend is very supportive she just wants me to get help because she knows i want to be able to satisfy her.Can someone here guide me on the Different medication and drug options available for me to overcome my premature ejaculation problem?

Okay that is clearer. Then you are definitely within the spectrum of mild to moderate to Premature ejaculation. It sounds as though your level is similar to mine.

To save you some trawling, these are your options:

1.  Masturbation before sex, possibly combined with viagra. This can be moderately effective for younger men. It is less effective for older men because of libido issues (if I ejaculate I lose interest in sex for at least 24 hours, so this would not work for me).  But it is certainly worth trying as your first option.

2. Squeeze techniques: generally regarded as a waste of time.

3. Penis local anesthetics: messy,  inconvenient and likely to kill your erection.

4. Herbal cures: don’t know but I am skeptical

5. Dietary supplements: Phenibut has been very effective for at least one group member. However, when I tried it, it had no effect whatsoever.

6. Multiple condoms: worth trying in mild cases of Premature ejaculation. A better alternative than 3.

7. Medication with daily dosing. The most effective daily dosing drug is generally thought to be Paxil which is cheap and easily obtainable. Results tend to be in the 3-5 minute range, though I personally have not tried it. Side effects vary even for the same individual but said to be generally fairly mild. This obviously has the advantage that you will be “always ready”, but obviously it requires taking a pill every day.

8. Medication on demand. Basically you have three options.

A.  The first is Prilogy (aka dapoxetine). Expensive and not easy to obtain. I have used it a few times and obtained reasonable results (thrusting up to 3 minutes). Side effects fairly mild.

B. Tramadol. This is the on-demand treatment of choice when it works. Very cheap and easy to obtain. Start with 50 mg 3 hours before sex. If that does not work then increase up to max 150 mg. Side effects mild and can be quite pleasant (Tramadol is a synthetic opiate). For me, 50 mg was ineffective but 100 – 150 mg generally allowed me up to 2 to 3 minutes without a condom and 5 minutes with one. For some  girls, this is sufficient to allow them to reach orgasm, though obviously it depends on the girl. If she needs 10 minutes + then tramadol is unlikely to be sufficient on its own.

C. Clomipramine (aka Anafranil) 25-50 mg + Tramadol 50-150 mg. Known on the forum as “the combo”.  If you can tolerate the side effects then this can be a very potent Premature ejaculation treatment. In my case, the Premature ejaculation completely disappears and indeed ejaculation becomes a challenge. Since discovering the combo I have started to enjoy sex again. The experience of  thrusting a girl until she climaxes is pretty unbeatable.
BUT some people cannot tolerate the combo because of side effects (sleeplessness, headaches, nausea, vomiting). I am lucky that other than the odd headache and dry mouth, I don’t get much in the way of side effects. But you need to be cautious when you first use the combo. From reports on the forum, I get the impression that maybe 50% of people cannot tolerate it.

All three of the above require you to take the pills 2 to 3 hours before sex (allow 4 hours for the combo), so spontaneity can be an issue.

Note also that with all of the on demand drug treatments (I don’t know about Paxil), you may well need to add viagra to the mix to maintain an erection. This is for two reasons. First, the drugs tend to interfere with erection. Second, men with Premature ejaculation often cannot sustain an erection (they either ejaculate or the erection subsides). I don’t know why that is, but viagra seems to deal with the problem.

I suggest you try the following in this order: (1) pre sex masturbation with viagra (2)  paxil or tramadol (3) the combo as a last resort.

I am trying a new procedure which I invented myself to overcome Premature Ejaculation, and it’s based on the Master’s and Johnson “squeeze” technique. I rememeber I had a major bed wetting problem that lasted a lot longer than most kids, and at age 10 my mother took me to a doctor and he installed a metal blanket on my bed that would sound an alarm when I wet my bed. My mother would run into the bedroom, and put me in the shower and run cold water on me. Well needless to say, after a couple of weeks I stopped wetting the bed. I am now apply that thinking to overcome Premature Ejaculation. I am now conditioning my body that “ejaculation” is “bad”, or at least it seems to be letting me control the ejaculation a lot better, from a few minutes to 10 or 20 minutes, so now my body seems to control it. Once I start having sexual relations again, I’ll report back to everyone and tell you if it worked!

Yes, please do keep us informed. Your method reminds me somewhat of a hypnosis tape I bought that claims to overcome Premature Ejaculation. It seemed kind of wacky, but as I recall the hypnotic suggestion was to think of something very sad when approaching ejaculation. I mean not just anything, but a particular sad thing the hypnotist described on the tape.  I tried one of those hypnosis tapes  I sometimes try to think of awful things when I am about to ejaculate, like family members in coffins and babies dying, but that is just no fun, I think that idea about the shock therapy makes a lot of sense, I will be curious to see if it works, where do I buy a “zapper” so I can try it myself?

I am convinced PE has a lot to do with childhood practices.
